Hod Rishonim

No longer a resort — a living Galilean story.

In the heart of ancient Metula, four 19th-century stone houses come to life as a unique and luxurious hospitality complex – a rare architectural gem in the Upper Galilee, a place that is a legend.

The complex is suited for hosting three couples or three families (each family consisting of a couple and three children), encompassing a therapeutic spring water pool, where bathing is an intoxicating experience, and overlooking an open view of the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon.

The uniqueness of "Hod Rishonim" lies in its meticulous architectural planning, which allows for togetherness and privacy – each family or couple has its own private house – and in the experience of bathing in the clear pool and the magical sunrises. The place is known for the sky views and the beautiful sunrises every morning over Mount Hermon.

The "Rishonim" (First Settlers) houses in the complex were restored with 130-year-old stones. Three out of the four houses serve as residences, and the fourth house – Beit HaTe'ena (The Fig House) – has been converted into a host family room for groups staying at the complex. It is led to by a green gazebo with a beautiful long white table for family and holiday meals next to the pool, and it is designed in the Rishonim style, with beautiful vintage kitchen accessories for the guests' use.

As for everything else — which is a world in itself — words cannot describe it. Here one dreams. Here one connects. Here the past meets the present and opens a gate to the future. Here the sun meets the moon and the stars — and you.
